PT. Global Indo Transportation is an association established on 26 March, 1986 which members are the private companies operating in the field of express delivery service throughout Indonesia, and is the only General Overhaul Heavy Equipment and Marine Engine service association providing express service acknowledged by the Indonesia Company of:

- Directorate General of Post and Telecommunication ( Telkom)
- Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( KADIN)

LICENSE
Business proceeding of all firms providing express freight General Overhaul Heavy Equipment and Marine Engine services today is based on the regulation UU No. 6/ 84 regarding Overhaul Heavy Equipment and Marine Engine service with the license issued by the Directorate General of Post and Telecommunication on the behalf of the Minister of Communication, the license of which is called Surat Ijin Pengusahaan Jasa Titipan ( SIPJT) .

MEMBERS
Members of PT. Global Indo Transportation, until today, have reached to a number of more than 500 firms holding SIPJT license or about 2000 branches throughout the 27 provinces, with around 25.000 employees involved.

Members of PT. Global Indo Transportation are divided into three categories:
International-Oriented : firms providing Overhaul Heavy Equipment and Marine Engine services to and from overseas.
Inter-City Service : firms providing Heavy Equipment and Marine Engine services in city area/ City courier.

OPERATIONAL ATTRIBUTES
A Corporation performing express freight services for Overhaul Heavy Equipment and Marine Engine by Container . A courier firm carrying out fast and delicate freight ( Worldwide) , with distinguished sensibility which put its service as the most favorable and competitive and keeping up with evolving technology and the demands of even-more international-oriented customers. It uses more land and air transportation facilities.
